Our Story
LetGoYourMind was established in 2011 by Jim Harvey, a lifelong teacher with a passion for science and technology. Over his 33-year career, he taught elementary and middle school students in several New England communities. Jim always had a desire to start his own business, and he saw an opportunity to turn his passion for STEM teachings into a program that his community had a massive demand for. LetGoYourMind’s first summer program piloted in Concord, NH in 2008 with 16 students, and the students loved their experience! After three years of fine-tuning the program, the rest is history; LetGoYourMind has now expanded exponentially, offering over 150 programs in three states. Their mission is to provide students with innovative programs that encourage creativity and foster self-confidence in a fun and safe environment.
Owner / Founder
Jim Harvey

Jim oversees the organization and has put together a team of teachers and counselors to inspire the next generation of STEM students. His driving force is cultivating the “light-bulb moment” when a student sees science in action and understands the concepts behind it. He is continually inspired by what his students come up with when they are given the creative freedom to make their lego projects their own.
Regional Director, Owner
Kevin Harvey

Kevin has been part of LetGoYourMind since its inception. Starting as a counselor, and now Regional Director and Owner, he has expertise in all facets of the organization. His role involves training new staff, designing curriculum, creative design, and marketing. Kevin’s skillset in teaching combined with his outgoing personality allow him to foster fun and engaging environments where students thrive.
Director of Operations
Ida Daley

Ida is the backbone of LetGoYourMind’s operations. She oversees hiring staff, program planning, and curriculum implementation. Her vast experience in early childhood education and management bring incredible value to the team. Her favorite part of the job is that each day brings variety, and she can utilize her full skillset towards LetGoYourMind’s mission of providing exceptional STEM programs for students.
Getting Creative with LEGOs
It’s no secret that LEGO bricks can help unlock a child’s creative and inventive nature. While building with LEGOs bricks at home, most kids learn and discover new things without even realizing it!
Our variety of STEM programs includes working with motors, gears, simple machines, programming robotics, stop-motion animation, and Minecraft.

LetGoYourMind Summer Programs are for students between the ages of 4 and 13 in NH, MA, and VT. The programs focus on vital STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and challenge kids to think creatively, problem-solve, work as a team, and reinforce skill sets while students have lots of fun! Our mission and philosophy are to provide high-quality, innovative, and challenging programs that encourage creativity and higher-level thinking skills while fostering self-confidence in a fun and safe environment.
