Our camps are one week long, and each class lasts six hours. We offer different classes for children of all ages to ensure that everyone is learning something engaging and age-appropriate.
During the week, kids will work in small groups. Our teachers will lead the groups in guided STEM-related building projects. During STEM builds, kids will experience the engineering process. This includes designing, building, testing, and modifying their creations. They’ll encounter obstacles and have to think critically to overcome them with their builds. Our dedicated teachers are there every step of the way, helping kids discover their passion. Each day of camp offers something new and exciting. By the end of the week, your child will have participated in a range of activities that stimulate creativity and a passion for discovery and exploration of the world around them! Each of our LEGO building projects encourages creativity and teamwork. Our classes range from structured group builds to free building time. By the end of the week, we’ll have done a little bit of everything!
Our 4-5 half-day programs are a perfect way to introduce your child to STEM-based principles while having fun and building with LEGO bricks! Each day students will learn STEM-based concepts that correlate with the build they are creating using axles, gears, motors, and battery packs. Working in pairs, students will follow the teacher’s instructions, step by step, to assemble their build. Once their build is complete, students will have time to modify and experiment with their LEGO brick creation any way they like!
Master Builders and Coders with Stop Motion Animation:
Join us and become a Master Builder. Before each LEGO brick creation staff will discuss key engineering and physics concepts with the children and how they relate to our builds. Students will then build their LEGO brick creations using axles, gears, battery packs and motors following PowerPoint presentations. In addition, children will learn how to code their LEGO builds using a drag-and-drop based interface using Bluetooth technology. In the afternoon, children will have the opportunity to produce their own LEGO stop motion animation. Students will be able to build their own movie sets and devise their own plot, with LEGO mini figures and other LEGO bricks, using professional stop motion animation software.

A week with even more LEGO brick builds and more stop motion animation action! Channel your inner Master Builder and create your very own LEGO brick robotic machines and stop motion animation movie.
EV3 LEGO Robotics and Minecraft with Stop Motion Animation:
In our 9-13 year old summer program students will learn how to build and code different LEGO brick creations using LEGO MINDSTORMS. Each day students will use EV3 brains, motors, and sensors to create a fun and educational LEGO build. Students will then learn C-based programming to make the build move. From using gears and axles to create The Swingah and coding it to swing and twirl around, to coding the touch sensor to signal the Launcher to activate the motors and launch the LEGO rod when pushed! During the Minecraft portion of the day, students will be tasked to build a maze. A maze that is filled with traps, tricks, and tactics to protect them from archenemies. Instructors will use Command Blocks and Redstone to teach students how to create cool defenses to use throughout their maze. At the end of the week students will try to solve each other’s mazes. In addition, children will have the opportunity to produce their own LEGO stop motion animation. Students will be able to build their own movie sets and devise their own plot with LEGO mini figures and other LEGO bricks, using professional stop motion animation software.
EV3 Mission to Mars and Minecraft with Stop Motion Animation:
Come join our space mission using LEGO EV3 MINDSTORMS! During this week students will tackle the challenges and adventures of space exploration. Participants will first learn how to build their own EV3 robot, or as we like to call it, a planetary exploration droid. Next students will learn how to program their EV3 robot. In order to explore the new terrain students will need to learn how to move their robot forwards, backwards, left, and right. Teachers will also show students more ways to use and code the different add-on sensors to help the EV3 robot maneuver through the unknown land! During the Minecraft portion, students will learn more tips and tricks each day to create an even bigger and more complex maze. In addition, students will learn more movie magic, including rigging, drawing, flying objects, and multiple movement effects to help bring their stop motion animation alive!
